MedPlus to invest Rs.100 crore

Pharma retail chain MedPlus on Wednesday said it would invest up to Rs.100 crore to open over 350 stores in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR), taking the total number of outlets in the area to 400 in the next two years. “We have 40 stores in Delhi NCR as of now. The plan to expand footprint in the region by setting up over 350 new stores by end of 2017,” MedPlus Health Services Founder and CEO Madukar Gangadi said. While majority of the stores will be set up under the franchise model, the company may looking at adding 10-15 company-owned stores as well, he added.
