RBI signs MoU with BCB

The Reserve Bank of India on Tuesday said that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on “Supervisory Cooperation and Exchange of Supervisory Information” with Banco Central do Brasil (BCB) on December 26, 2014.

“With this the Reserve Bank has signed 23 such MoUs, one Letter for Supervisory Co-operation and one Statement of Co-operation with overseas regulators/supervisors,” said RBI in a press release.

The RBI has been signing the Memorandum of Understanding/ Exchange of Letters/Statement of Co-operation with supervisors of other countries to promote greater co-operation and sharing of supervisory information among the authorities.
