Royal Enfield sales up 43% in January

Two-wheeler maker Royal Enfield today reported 43 per cent jump in total sales in January this year at 28,927 units as against 20,232 units in the year-ago period.

Domestic sales also surged by 42 per cent at 28,157 units last month as against 19,808 units in January 2014, the company said in a statement.

Exports during the month stood at 770 units as against 424 units last year, up 82 per cent.
