Sundaram-Clayton to up borrowing limit

Sundaram-Clayton has sought the approval of the shareholders to increase its borrowing limit up to Rs.750 crore. It may be recalled that the shareholders had given their nod to the company during the annual general meeting held on September 29, 2009, to borrow up to Rs.350 crore. The board has sought the consent of the members, through a special resolution to fix a revised limit, keeping in view the long-term requirement of funds for future business plans.
