DLF to comply with apex court direction

DLF on Wednesday stated it would comply with the direction of the Supreme Court to deposit the Rs.630-crore penalty imposed by the competition watchdog, Competition Commission of India (CCI), and said it remained confident about the merits of its case.

In a filing to the BSE, DLF said: “The copy of the order passed today [Wednesday] by the Supreme Court is still awaited. DLF will take all steps to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court and remains confident of the merits of its case.”

The company further said that its appeal against the order of COMPAT had been admitted on Wednesday by the Supreme Court.
