Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday filed his nomination for the Delhi Assembly elections. Mr. Kejriwal had to reschedule the exercise on Tuesday because of a massive crowd which delayed his procession to the Jamnagar House nomination centre. He will contest from the New Delhi constituency.

On Tuesday, Mr. Kejriwal was just accompanied by a few supporters on his way from his residence in Ghaziabad to the centre.

Coming out after filing nominations for contesting from the New Delhi Assembly seat where he defeated former Delhi Chief Minister and three-time MLA Sheila Dikshit in 2013, Mr. Kejriwal said the people of Delhi had made up their mind about voting his AAP to power.
