Police procedural drama ‘The Mentalist’ will bid goodbye to the small screen after its upcoming seventh season. The last season will premiere in mid season 2015 on CBS.
Tim Kang, who plays a special agent Kimball Cho on the show, confirmed the news on Twitter, reported Aceshowbiz.
“This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it’s so fun and such a great season!” he tweeted.
’The Mentalist’ follows the story of Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker), who becomes a consultant to the California Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after the brutal murders of his wife and his daughter.
