Fun ten-fold

The first look of 10 Endrathukulla has already whetted the appetite of Vikram fans. So, how would director Vijay Milton describe it? “ 10 Endrathukulla is a commercial film but with a down-to-earth storyline. It is based on a journey, hence, a kind of road movie. There will be many fun elements built into the action-oriented script,” says Vijay Milton, without revealing much about the plot. The film being produced by Fox Star Studios and A R Murugadoss Productions, has Samantha as the heroine.

Director turns actor

When he entered the film industry, A.R. Kenthiran Muniyasamy’s dream was to become an actor. But, due to circumstances he ended up directing his first film, Ayyan, a few years ago. Now, in his forthcoming Sethu Boomi, the director also essays an important role — that of the heroine’s uncle. “In rural Tamil Nadu, the thai maaman is an important family member. The story of Sethu Boomi, set in Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai, explores this relationship and depicts the ways of local people,” says Kenthiran. Sethu Boomi stars Thaman ( Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Thottal Thodarum ) and Samskruthi ( Kaadu ).

Comic situations galore

Director Swamy Raj’s debut offering, Yokkiyan Varaan Sembai Thooki Ulle Vai revolves around two villages, and the romance between a boy and girl living there. “Expectedly there are objections. Along comes the ‘yokkiyan,’ played by Singhampuli, whose main aim is to unite them. In the process, many humorous situations arise,” says Swamy Raj. Yokkiyan Varaan… is a full-length comedy starring newcomers Vijay R. Nagaraj and Priya Menon.
