I am in B.Sc. Physics III year. I would like to complete M.Sc. What are the opportunities after M.Sc. in Physics? What are the courses other than M.Sc. after B.Sc.? Does the university matter for studying M.Sc.?

Anup Giram via email

It is a natural progression from B.Sc. Physics to pursue an M.Sc. Identifying a university based on the research aspect will help you to get to the top echelons. Every aspect of the subject of Physics has a scope that will take you forward. Physics encompasses the nuances of Classical mechanics, Thermodynamics, Relativity, Electromagnetism, and Quantum Mechanics, to mention a few. Interdisciplinary areas like Astrophysics, Biophysics, Physical chemistry, Medical Physics, Econophysics (Economics and the Physical Processes) and Geophysics also have a value-add.

Besides PG in Physics the other alternatives that you will have would be a Master in Computer Application and a MBA if you intend to move towards the domain of business.
