I am a lecturer in a private unaided college teaching History for degree students. I am pursuing M.Phil by correspondence. I am interested to know more about Buddhism and its philosophy. Please provide details of organisations where I can experience the philosophy and the religion.

Courses in Tourism, Travel and Hospitality (TTH), along with programmes in Eco-Tourism, Sustainability in Environment, Disaster Mitigation and Management, have become popular with prospective learners as there are many opportunities. In the process, many institutions have become popular with the learners.

Kerala Institute of Tourism and Travel Studies (KITTS) (www.kittstour.org) offers the two-year MBA in Travel and Tourism, which is affiliated to the University of Kerala. I am currently in the first year of three-year degree programme in the Science stream (CBZ courses). I have an interest in food and nutrition. You can take up the two-year, four-semester M.Sc Food Technology offered by the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) (www.cftri.com). The minimum qualification for applying to the course is a Bachelor’s degree in:

· Science with Chemistry as one of the major subjects with 55% in optional subjects of B.Sc. pass course (50% for SC/ST category) / 50% for B.Sc.(Hons.) course (45% for

SC/ST category)

· Agriculture with minimum second class

· Engineering / Technology with minimum second class

· Mathematics at the Higher Secondary/PUC/+2 level is compulsory.
