Bollywood actor Anupam Kher along with rest of the cast of “Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami” turned up at Noida’s Raddison Blu Hotel to promote the film, which is due to release on October 10. The film is about two sons who want their father to get the much needed respect in society.

Shedding light on his character, Anupam Kher, who plays the father, said, “The character I am portraying is a very honest man. He is working with the Municipal Corporation. In the movie, I have two sons who do not respect their father and treat him like a piece of furniture in the house.”

He added, “It was fun working in this movie. When I play honest roles in movies, my grandfather comes to my mind.”

The movie highlights the idea that it is important to fulfil the wishes of the common man who fails to earn a luxurious, comfortable life despite working hard all his life.

The film revolves around the two sons who set out on a mission to fulfil the dream of their father, who had been striving all his life to get respect.

Director Ravindra Gautam said, “It is a story based on the father-son relationship. A father-son relationship is a very emotional relationship.” .

Divyendu Sharma, who plays one of the sons, said, “It is a pleasure to be a part of this movie. It’s a pleasure to working with Mr. Kher. This movie is an emotional movie where you can see comedy, suspense and somewhere serious drama.”

Also present were co-artists Manu Rishi, Aditi Sharma, Rajesh Sharma and producer Abhinav Shukla. The event was presented by real estate company Unnati Fortune Group.
