‘Make use of e-service centre’

The District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) has urged the residents of rural areas to make use of the facilities offered in the e-service centres established under the ‘Pudhu Vazhu’ scheme. The scheme is implemented in 37 panchayat unions in Coimbatore district.

According to an official release, residents can get in these centres the certificates issued by Revenue Department such as domicile, income, first-generation graduate and destitute.

Further, the centres disburse financial assistance given by the Social Welfare Department. The centres can also be used to book railway and flight tickets, recharging balance for mobile phones, electricity bills, Aadhaar, PAN and voter identity cards enrolment.
