A two-day programme on ‘Emergency Care: New Trends’ was organised here from Saturday by the (No. 6) Air Force Hospital Coimbatore as part of Continued Medical Education.
According to a press release, various topics related to emergency medicine such as management of heart attacks, stroke and paediatric emergencies were discussed during the programme.
A workshop on emergency life support was also held.
Eminent doctors from south India, besides medical officers from all the three services participated. Air Vice Marshal G.S. Nanda, Principal Medical Officer, Training Command, Indian Air Force, presided.
