‘Learning for sustainable development goals’

43rd annual NPSC conference organised

Sustainable development goals were the focus of a recent conference of educationists held here, with speakers telling school principals about the need for innovation in learning.

The National Progressive School Conference (NPSC), which is an association of senior secondary schools from around the country, organised its 43{+r}{+d}annual conference. The theme was “Learning Revolution for Sustainable Development Goals”.

NPSC chairman Ashok Pandey, who is also the principal of Ahlcon International School, said the association was committed towards transforming education through new ideas.

The conference included sessions on designing creative curriculums, promoting peace and inclusion, and innovative ideas for societal transformation.

During the valedictory session, CBSE chairman Y.S.K. Seshu Kumar said the CBSE has introduced digital learning platforms to improve education.

Among the initiatives are ICT activities, E-CBSE portal, E-pathshala and Saransh, which is a reviewing tool for CBSE-affiliated schools and parents of students.
