Nod to Gajwel ring road

January 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:35 am IST - HYDERABAD:

The Government of Telangana on Thursday gave administrative sanction for the first phase of formation of ring road to Gajwel town in Medak district with Rs. 30 crore.

The Government Order issued by the R&B Department stated that the ring road connects Sangareddy-Narspur-Toopran-Gajwel-Jagdevpur road (SH-17) and Rajiv Rahadari (SH-1), Gajwel-Chegunta road and Gajwel-Doulthabad road.

Inter-state traffic of heavy-load trucks and lorries passing through the roads could be diverted to the ring road and disturbance to the Gajwel town could be avoided with it.

The road would also be convenient to people travelling towards Hyderabad and to connect to the mandal headquarter of Gajwel.

The length of the road proposed is about 19 km and will cover Mutrajpally, Sangupally, Rajireddypally, Jaligaon, Bayyaram and Kayasaram by connecting them to Gajwel town.

Inter-state traffic of heavy trucks and lorries can be diverted to the ring road and disturbance to Gajwel town can

be avoided
