Telangana Tourism introduces ‘Nizam palaces tour’

Telangana Tourism will introduce from July 26, a specially-packaged, weekend half-day ‘Nizam palaces tour’ on Saturdays and Sundays. The tariff for Option 1, of Rs. 3,100 per adult and Rs. 2,480 per child includes air-conditioned transportation with tour escort services, entry tickets, tea and snacks.

A press release said tourists would depart the Tourism Plaza, Begumpet, at 1 p.m., from Hotel Taj Krishna at 1.20 p.m., and from Hotel Golconda at 1.45 p.m., to reach Chowmahalla Palace at 2.30 p.m. After an hour there, they would be taken to Falaknuma Palace between 4 and 5.30 p.m. for a tour and hi-tea. The next location on the agenda will be Golconda sound and light show between 6.45 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Option 2 is fixed at Rs. 2,000 and Rs 1,600, for an adult and child, respectively and includes a/c transport with tour escort and entry tickets at all the three locations. For online bookings, guests may browse www.aptdc.gov.in – Telangana region and bookings are open till 9 a.m. on the day of departure.
