August 23, 2014 12:53 am | Updated 12:53 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Traffic would be stopped or diverted from 4.30 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday at some points from People’s Plaza on Necklace road to Gachibowli via Raj Bhavan road and Jubilee Hills check-post for the Hyderabad Marathon Run.

Traffic movement would be diverted at some places such as VV statue, Necklace rotary, Telugu Talli statue, Liberty junction, Karbala Maidan, Nallagutta junction, Greenlands junction, NFCL traffic island, Nandamuri Basava Tarakam Cancer Hospital, Road no. 1/45 junction and Road no. 36/10 junction.

“There would not be a continuous stream of runners. So depending on the situation, we will allow traffic movement at all these points soon after the runners move past them,” Hyderabad Traffic DCP G. Sudhir Babu said on Friday.
