April 17, 2014 11:00 am | Updated November 16, 2021 07:27 pm IST - Kochi:

The special investigation team probing the murder of Jose 70, and his wife Rosily 64, at Vadakkekara here earlier this month has collected further evidence connecting prime accused Joshy to the murder, police said.

The police collected a television, set-top box, and ceiling fan from Joshy’s residence at Malappuram. “The items were bought with the money he obtained from selling the gold chain he took from the woman’s neck,” said Aluva deputy superintendent of police V.K. Sanil Kumar. Police attributed robbery as the prime motive for murder and have ruled out the involvement of any other person.
