The police on Wednesday found the body of a middle aged woman from an isolated property at Mavelipuram near Kakkanad.
The unidentified body was first spotted by children who were playing in an open space near Mavelipuram on Wednesday evening. The police suspect that it could be a case of murder as the body carried injury marks. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. On an alert, the Thrikkakara police reached the spot and shifted the body to hospital. A case has been registered and a probe is on.
