Blood donation in memory of Kalam

Over 400 students and faculty members of the American College, led by Principal M. Davamani Christober, donated blood at a camp organised by the National Service Scheme in memory of former President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on Tuesday.

The camp was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Joseph of Madurai-Ramnad Diocese of the Church of South India.

Those who participated in the camp included G. C. Abraham, Bursar. Doctors and para-medical personnel from Government Rajaji Hospital collected the blood from donors. According to a press release, those who are in need of blood can approach the Principal at 0452 2530070 or NSS convenor Samuel Anbu Selvan at 9443531531.
