The City Traffic Police announced the following traffic regulations due to construction works to be carried out for the underground drainage system on Nethaji Road and West Vadampokki Street near Shopping Complex bus stand entrance. The regulations will come into force from September 3 and will be in place till the works are completed.
According to an official release, vehicles plying towards TPK Road via Nethaji Road shall now take an alternative from Nethaji Statue, Kansamettu Street, TM Court junction, Pandiavellalar Street and South Veli Street to reach TPK Road.
Similarly, vehicles plying towards TPK Road from Nethaji Statue shall now take the route via Arya Bhavan junction, West Masi Street, May Flower Junction, Sambandamoorthy Street, West Marret Street and Town Hall Road to reach TPK Road.
Vehicles which are also plying from TPK Road towards the Masi Streets will have to take the route via South Marret Street, Pandiavellalar Street and TM Court to reach West Masi Street.
