Approval for urban eco-park

District in-charge Minister B. Ramanath Rai has said the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has approved setting up of an urban eco-park at Dr. K. Shivarama Karantha Pilikula Nisarga Dhama. Speaking at the KDP meeting here on Tuesday, Mr. Rai said tenders have been invited for the detailed project report to set up the park at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 crore.

No water supply today

There would be no water supply in parts of Mangaluru on Wednesday. Mangaluru City Corporation in a release here said water supply in Katipalla, Kaana, Baala, Krishnapura, Chelyarpadavu and surrounding areas would be affected following repair works on the main pipeline.
