Certificates across the counter

The district administration has said that the public desirous of obtaining computerised caste and income certificates from Atalji Janasnehi Kendras need not fill fresh application forms every time. They can just provide a photocopy of certificate obtained earlier or the RD Number along with their name and father’s name to obtain fresh certificates across the counter, said B. Sadashiva Prabhu, additional Deputy Commissioner, in a release here.

Bank details of

dairy farmers

The Dakshina Kannada Milk Union has asked its constituent milk producers’ societies to provide bank account details of member dairy farmers so as to credit the incentive amount being paid by the government before June 30. Incentive amount up to December 2014 has already been paid to the members and the government has released the next instalment of incentive for the months of January-March 2015 to DKMUL. The amount (Rs. 4 per litre) has to be directly credited to the bank accounts of members and hence the details are necessary, a release said.

Talamaddale programme

Siribagilu Venkapaiah Samskrutika Pratishthana, Kasaragod, would conduct a Talamaddale programme titled ‘Shiva Bhakta Veeramani’ at the Sri Kshetra Kadri temple premises at 5 p.m. on Monday. The programme is being organised as part of Deshamangala Krishna Karantha birth centenary celebrations by Kalkura Pratishthana, Mangaluru, said Pradeep Kumar Kalkura from the Pratishthana in a release here. Ramakrishna Maiya Siribagilu would be the Bhagavata while Gopalakrishna Navada Madur would be on Chende and Murali Madhava Maddur would be the interpreter. On this occasion, senior artist Radhakrishna Kalchar would be felicitated with Kalkura Yaksha Siri award.
