Meeting to discuss introduction of new buses

Deputy Commissioner A.B. Ibrahim, who also heads the Road Transport Authority, will hold a meeting with MLAs and MLC Ivan D’Souza on Saturday regarding the introduction of new KSRTC buses on 17 routes in the city.

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation has proposed to introduce new buses under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission and the issue has been pending before the District Road Transport Authority.

The meeting of the RTA has been scheduled on August 5. The RTA meeting on the issue of JNNURM and other issues has been periodically postponed since April.
