‘Citizen front’ in support

May 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:55 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Vizhinjam International Seaport Joint Action Council, an umbrella organisation of over 50 associations, will organise a meet, titled ‘citizen front,’ on June 2 in front of the Secretariat demanding immediate government approval for the project.

The council’s patron Fr. Wilfred and general convenor M.S. Venugopal told a press conference here on Friday that the front was constituted seeking a decision on the project on June 3 itself. Eminent persons from the socio-cultural and educational fields would participate, they said. A rally would be taken out. — Special Correspondent
