The Thiruvananthapuram round of the INTACH India Heritage Quiz 2015, now in its 2nd edition, will be held at the Col. G.V. Raja Hall of the Trivandrum Tennis Club at Kowdiar here from 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
The quiz series is an initiative by INTACH — the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage, which aims at interacting with students and teachers across the country through a direct awareness building activity. Quizzes are being conducted at Port Blair, Rajkot and Leh among other cities.
Last year the programme saw participation of 10,000 students from 1,245 schools across 100 cities in the country, the organisers said.
Zonal final
The top performers from the Thiruvananthapuram round will compete with those who qualify from Kochi, Kozhikode and Thrissur in the Kerala Zonal final at 12 noon, after the Thiruvananthapuram round.
Kunal Savarkar will be hosting the quiz.
The zonal final will feature various rounds that use progressive clues and visual stills to excite and tease the students.
The team that wins the zonal final will travel to Delhi to participate in the national rounds, according to a press release here.
