Change in pattern of train services on July 6

Southern Railway has announced change in the pattern of train services on July 6 in view of erection of precast boxes and slabs for Limited Use Subway between Srirangam and Tiruchi Town stations.

Trains cancelled

The Tiruchi–Lalgudi passenger (76804), Vriddhachalam – Tiruchi passenger (56807), Vriddhachalam – Cuddalore Port Junction passenger (56834), Cuddalore Port Junction – Tiruchi passenger (56805), Tiruchi – Cuddalore Port Junction passenger (56806), Tiruchi – Vriddhachalam passenger (56808) and Cuddalore Port Junction – Vriddhachalam passenger (56833) have been fully cancelled on July 6.

The Lalgudi–Tiruchi passenger (76803), Vriddhachalam–Cuddalore Port Junction passenger (56834), Vriddhachalam – Tiruchi passenger (56807) and Cuddalore Port Junction – Tiruchi passenger (56805) have been fully cancelled on July 7.

Partially cancelled

The Madurai–Villupuram passenger (56706) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi and Villupuram and the Villupuram–Madurai passenger (56705) would be partially cancelled between Villupuram and Tiruchi on July 6.

Rescheduled

The Chennai Egmore–Karaikudi Pallavan Express (12605) is rescheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 4.30 p.m. on July 6.

Diverted

The following trains will be diverted via main line – Tiruchi, Thanjavur, Mayiladuthurai, and Villupuram on July 6: The Madurai–Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express, the Chennai Egmore–Madurai Vaigai Express, the Chennai Egmore –Guruvayur /Tuticorin Link Express and Guruvayur/Tuticorin-Chennai Egmore Link Express

The Madurai–Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express and the Guruvayur/Tuticorin–Chennai Egmore Link Express will reach Villupuram 60 minutes late. The Chennai Egmore–Madurai Vaigai Express and the Chennai Egmore–Guruvayur/Tuticorin Link Express will reach Tiruchi 60 minutes late.

Alternative arrangements have been made for passengers who have confirmed reservation in the above trains from / to Vriddhachalam, Pennadam, Ariyalur, and Srirangam with bus services having been arranged.
