The Indian Medical Association of Tiruchi chapter on Sunday presented Doctor’s Day award to five senior doctors of Tiruchi for their meritorious service.
S. Thiyagarajan (80), general practitioner, S. Kasturi Mohan, gynaecologist, L. Subramanian, senior physician, JDJ. Chellappa, senior surgeon, and Johar were presented with the award and citation. Besides practicing for more than 30 years, they have excelled in their respective specialised departments, said S. Sethuraman, president, IMA, Tiruchi, who presented the awards in the presence of K.C. Johny, Commissioner, Customs, Tiruchi.
