The Anna Science Centre-Planetarium here will conduct painting, essay, and elocution competitions for school students in connection with Energy Awareness Week observance from December 14 to 20. The contests will be held on December 10 at the Science Centre on the topic electricity conservation. While painting competition will be held for students of class 5 to 7, essay and poem contests will be for organised for students of class 8 to 10. Class 11 and 12 students can participate in elocution contest. Drawing sheets will be given by the centre and the students should bring the required materials for the contest. Admission is free, a press release from the Science Centre here said.
