A course that grooms automobile salesmen

Automobile industry is facing lack of quality salesmen. Though industry giants are pumping in money to promote their products, they are not able to find quality salesmen. Keeping this in view, Mahavir Motors, Hyderabad, in association with some industry experts, launched the Global Academy of Automotive Retail Excellence (GAARE) to offer a six-month course for graduates who wish make a career in automobile sales.

“The Advanced Diploma in Automotive Retail Sales will be offered on GAARE campus in Pune, and the course curriculum includes automotive technology, persuasive communication, art of selling, personality development, customer relationship management and sales business management,” said Yashwant Jhabakh, chief mentor, GAARE. “Though the student intake capacity is 800, this year we are confining to 150, and of these, we expect 60 to join from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana,” he added.
