The serene environs of Singhnagar grounds in the city came alive with cheers and whistles as Indian Idol 2010 winner and playback singer Sreeram Chandra and singing sensation from the city Sai Shilpa enthralled audience with their electrifying performance at Imperial Blue Superhit Nights event conducted on Saturday.
They belted out hit numbers from movies of actors Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan.
“It’s good to perform at this place, where I have completed my Intermediate studies. The response was overwhelming,” Mr. Chandra said. Deployment of security guards at the entrances of the venue and proper barricading helped the organisers conduct the event in a smooth manner.
Assistant vice-president, Marketing, Pernod Ricard India, Raja Banerji said that the event offered good entertainment with the performances in music, dance and comedy from some of the top talents in the industry.
