Advocating gender sensitivity, Population First calls for entries for the seventh edition of Laadli Media and Advertising Awards for Gender Sensitivity 2014-15.
The entries should be original and published or broadcast or telecast between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 and is open to advertising and media professionals from across India. The last date for receipt of entries is November 15.
Laadli awards, a campaign by Population First, is an advocacy initiative meant to promote a positive image of women and girls in society and to change the stereotypical mindsets. The awards have been instituted to acknowledge and celebrate the tremendous efforts taken by print and electronic media (TV, Radio and Web) and advertising agencies to promote gender sensitivity as an integral part of their profession.
Apart from Television channels and Radio stations, entries are invited from advertising, print and electronic media.
Based on certain parameters, winners will be selected by a jury consisting of eminent personalities from media and social sector. For further details and entry forms, log on to www.populationfirst.org.
