Tejaswaramma of city in A. P. National Games basketball team

K. Tejaswaramma of Visakhapatnam was selected to the Andhra Pradesh women’s basketball team that will be participating in the National Games being held in Kerala. On Friday, president of Visakhapatnam District Basketball Association T.S.R. Prasad, secretary Bojja Ramayya, and DRDA Project Director V. Satya Sai Srinivas congratulated Ms. Tejaswarmma on her selection to the State team, and handed over financial assistance to her.

Coaching camp

The basketball event will be conducted at Kannur from February 9 to 13, and a coaching camp for the A. P. team will be held at Anantapur from February 1 to 6.

TT official

International grade umpire D.V.S.Y. Sarma of Visakhapatnam is officiating as a technical official in the table tennis tournament of the National Games which commenced in Kerala on Saturday.

Mr. Sarma is working with the LIC. He thanked State Table Tennis Association president V. Bhaskarram, secretary S.M. Sultan and LIC management for extending their support.
