Vijayamma chants development mantra in Bheemunipatnam

She promises integrated fishing harbour, exclusive tourism hub

Bheemunipatnam area would be developed on all fronts and Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s government would change the face of the State, honorary president of YSR Congress and the party’s candidate for Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency Y.S. Vijayamma said during an election meeting at Padmanabham in Bheemunipatnam Assembly segment on Friday afternoon.

An integrated fishing harbour would be established at Bheemunipatnam, the entire area would be developed as an exclusive tourism area, fishermen community would be taken care of in all respects and many other benefits would be provided by the YSRC government, Ms. Vijayamma said.

She hailed the Rajasaekhara Reddy government which launched many schemes and programmes for the people and said they could only be resumed by Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy. Ms. Vijayamma said Chandrababu Naidu’s government had done little for the people.

Party’s candidate for the Assembly Karri Sitaram, senior leader Konathala Ramakrishna and local leaders Korada Rajababu, Peela Uma Rani and others were present.

Later, Ms. Vijayamma tourned S. Kota Assembly segment in Vizianagaram which falls under Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency.

Roadshow today

Ms Vijayamma would be covering the Assembly segments in the City on Saturday and Sunday, party City unit president Malla Vijay Prasad told the media at the city party office here.

The honorary president of the party would cover Visakha East, Visakha North and Visakha South constituency on Saturday and Visakha West and Gajuwaka on Sunday. He released the detailed tour schedule for Saturday and said the tour schedule for Sunday would be finalised on Saturday.

Ms Vijayamma would cover Visakha East from 9 a.m to 1 p.m., Visakha North from 4 to 6 p.m. and Visakha South from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
