Wins trophy in HSBC Train Green event

Ramakrishna School won the rolling trophy for the ‘best school to make a difference’ in the final session of Train Green Programme, a year-long initiative organised for 10 selected schools in the city, conducted by HSBC. The programme was held to highlight the importance of eco-friendly activities like waste management, energy conservation, water conservation and reducing carbon footprint.

Ramakrishna School also won the best project award in the ‘waste management’ category. K. Panth, head of Train Green Programme appreciated the participants for their sustained effort and urged the students to continue their work towards creating eco-friendly environment. Later, he gave away prizes to the winners.

The other schools that participated in the programme were Alwar Das Public School, Little Angels, Satya Sai Vidya Vihar, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Ramnath Secondary School, V T High School, Bala Bhanu High School and J K school.
