Driver loses control, bus ends up on railway track

Four people seriously injured

Four passengers sustained serious injuries while 25 others escaped with minor injuries when a private bus lost control and turned turtle on the railway lane near Vaderahalli close to Channapattana on Mysuru-Bengaluru highway on Friday.

The bus was going towards Channapattana from Bengaluru.

The police has attributed rash driving and negligence as the reason for the accident.

Passers by rushed to the help and shifted the injured to the hospital before alerting the police.

The Ramanagara rural police rushed to the spot and pulled out the bus from the track.

Train movement between Bengaluru and Mysuru was disrupted for over two hours. The police are waiting to question the driver, who is recovering at a hospital.
