Youth stabbed to death over trivial row

A 24-year-old hotel employee was stabbed to death over a trivial row by his friend in Nandini Layout on Sunday.

The deceased, Swamy was working as a cleaner in a hotel in Mahalakshmi Layout based on the recommendation of his friend Charan Kumar. Charan Kumar owed some money to Swamy.

After working for few days, Swamy decided to quit the job and asked Charan Kumar to return the money he owed. Heated arguments ensued following which Charan Kumar stabbed Swamy with a knife. Swamy was rushed to KC General Hospital where he succumbed due to severe bleeding.

The Nandini Layout police have taken up a case and are looking out for Charan Kumar, who is absconding.
