The sleuths of the Central Crime Branch attached to the City police arrested 36-year-old Prabhu Narayanan on the charge of cheating a nationalised bank in Chennai. He is also wanted by the CBI for cheating the Small Industrial Development Bank of India. The suspect came in the police radar after the nationalised bank submitted a petition claiming that he sought a loan of Rs.1.50 crore to run a printing press. When he did not pay the EMI, the bank checked the documents and found they were forged.
