To clear the extra rush of passengers, Southern Railway will operate the following superfast special trains between Chennai Central and Thiruvananthapuram.
Train no. 06008 Thiruvananthapuram–Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 8.20 p.m. on September 5, and reach Chennai Central at 12.35 p.m., the next day.
Train no. 06007 Chennai Central–Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train will leave Central at 6.15 p.m. on September 6, and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11 a.m. the next day.
The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam.
Train no. 00648 Thiruvananthapuram–Chennai Central premium superfast special train will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 9.15 p.m. on September 8, and reach Chennai Central at 10.35 a.m. the next day.
The train will stop at Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Thrissur and Katpadi.
Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on Saturday.
