Snag delays train on Tambaram-Beach route for an hour

Passengers were stranded for one hour in the Tambaram to Beach route due to a technical snag at Chromepet station.

According to railway sources, the problem occurred after a bill board fell on the tracks. Subsequently the services were disrupted from 6.30 pm on Tuesday.

The train services reportedly resumed after an hour.
