Bridge work: trains to be cancelled

The Southern Railway has announced total and partial cancellation of trains, and also regulation of services on December 27 and 28, owing to works to replace steel girders of the bridge between Mahe and Thalassery on the Shoranur – Mangalore section from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on these days.

Train No.56657 (Kozhikode – Kannur passenger) will be fully cancelled on both days. The following trains will partially be cancelled and not operated between Kozhikode and Kannur in either direction: Train No.56654 (Mangalore – Kozhikode passenger); Train No.56603 (Thrissur – Kannur passenger); Train No.56602 (Kannur – Shoranur passenger); Train No.56324 (Mangalore – Coimbatore passenger); Train No.56323 (Coimbatore - Mangalore passenger); Train No.16305 (Ernakulam – Kannur Express); Train No.16306 (Kannur - Ernakulam Express) will start only from Kozhikode.   

Regulation

  Train No.16606 Nagercoil – Mangalore Eranad Express will be detained for 50 minutes at Mahe on both days and will arrive late at Mangalore Central by 50 minutes. Train No.16650 Nagercoil – Mangalore Parasuram Express will be detained at Mahe for 87 minutes. Train No.12217 Kochuveli – Chandigarh Kerala Sampark Kranti Express will be detained for 35 minutes at Mahe on December 27. Train No.12202 Kochuveli – Lokmanya Tilak Garib Rath will be detained at Mahe for 35 minutes on December 28. Train No.16859 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Express will be detained at Mahe for 25 minutes. Train No.56652 Kannur – Kozhikode passenger will start from Kannur 50 minutes late. Train No.22609 Mangalore – Coimbatore Inter City Express will be detained for 18 minutes at Thalassery.
