Eight killed in Pakistan attack

At least eight people were killed and six injured on Thursday when unknown gunmen opened fire at a passenger bus in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

According to police, the incident took place in the provincial capital Quetta, Dawn online reported.

“The assailants sprayed bullets at the bus and managed to escape from the spot,” an official said.

The eight victims belonged to the ethnic Hazara community. “This is an act of targeted killing,” he said.
