Two sitting MPs Sabbam Hari and G.V. Harsha Kumar are among 22 candidates announced by Jai Samaikyandhra Party for the Lok Sabha elections. They have been retained at Visakhapatnam and Amalapuram constituencies respectively.
The other candidates include : Srikakulam - Pydi Raja Rao; Vizianagaram – Tadivaka Ramesh Naidu; Kakinada – Satya Ramakrishna Tummalapalli; Rajahmundry – Mullapudi Satyanarayana; Narsapuram – Polasapalli Saroja Cherian; Machilipatnam – Srinivas Kammil; Vijayawada – Chinnam Ishwarya Lakshmi; Guntur – Mallela Venkat Rao; Bapatla – R.D. Wilson; Ongole – G. Kishore Kumar Reddy; Nandyal – N. Mallikarjuna Reddy; Kadapa – Gouse Peer; Nellore – Syed Haneef; Rajampet – G. Mujeeb Hussain and Chittoor – Pakala Pushpa Raj.
From Eluru, K.V.V. Satyanarayana will be JSP nominee. Yeluri Srilatha- Narasaraopet, G. Jakeer Hussain – Kurnool; Boya Anil Kumar – Anantapur and Shameer Basha from Hindupur are the other nominees of the party for the LS seats.
The party also announced candidates for 42 Assembly constituencies and left 18 Assembly and two Parliamentary constituencies – Araku and Tirupathi – to its alliance partner CPI (M). Rayadurg Assembly constituency in Anantapur district was given to the Backward Classes United Front.
