Murder accused found dead at house

A man was found dead under the suspicious circumstances at his house in Brodiepet on Friday morning.

The deceased, identified as Kurra Ramesh, an accused in a murder case that took place nearly 20 years ago, was found murdered at his house. Police said that his head was clobbered with a heavy object. Ramesh was an accused in the murder case involving Sanjay Kumar, a taxi driver. Of late, Ramesh had been working as a driver. He also had a rowdy sheet opened against him in Pattabhipuram police station.

On Thursday, he came home in an inebriated condition. His father told police that Ramesh came home late in the night and slept in his room. By morning, his dead body was found on the cot. Inspector of Pattabhipuram, Bilaluddin registered a case and investigation is on.
