A biography of Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled ” Modi—Incredible emergence of a star” has been published in the Chinese language.

The biography by Tarun Vijay, a BJP MP and a journalist, is published by Sichuan University’s South Asia Study Centre.

In his message dated April 15, 2014 for the book, Modi had said he hoped it will enable Chinese friends to have a glimpse of what is happening in India right now.

Modi said the book will act as a window to the contemporary scenario in India and shall hopefully help to open up “understanding and companionship“.

The book was presented by Vijay to Modi on Tuesday in the presence of Union Ministers Arun Jaitley and M Venkaiah Naidu.
