Four rowdy-sheeters arrested in Tumakuru

Four rowdy-sheeters in Nelamangala police station in Bengaluru Rural district have been arrested on Friday by Tilak Park police in Tumakuru city.

Additional Superintendent of Police R. Lakshman gave the names of the arrested as Bethanakere Shankara (34),

Bethanakere Manja (27), Abhishek (28), and

Jagannath (32) . All four have cases of attempt to murder, attempt to dacoity and rioting against them.

They were staying in a rented house in Tilak Park police station limits for the past two-and-half months.

On Friday afternoon, based on information that they were planning a dacoity in Tumakuru city, the police arrested them near Ring Road in Tumakuru city.

Mr. Lakshman said that they were operating from Tumakuru city

A private car, weapons, mobile phones, and land documents have been seized by the police.

A case has been registered in Tilak Park police station.
