Judges, lawyers participate in ‘Swachh Bharat’ campaign

Judges, lawyers and students of the National Service Scheme (NSS) conducted a drive to clean the surroundings of the court complex in K.R. Pet on Saturday morning as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign. S. Gopalappa, Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), inaugurated the drive.

“People should exhibit more responsibility in keeping the environment around them clean,” the judge said.

The volunteers cleaned the surroundings of the court complex and removed weeds, waste materials, boulders and even some liquor bottles, among others.
