The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal on Wednesday ordered the Government to maintain status quo on its decision of cancelling process of appointment to 362 posts of Group 'A' and 'B' gazetted probationers.

The tribunal passed the order on a batch of petitions filed by B Devaraja and other candidates who were selected for the posts by the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

The Government on August 14 had cancelled the process of appointment following allegations of corruption and irregularities in KPSC's selection process.
