Senior leaders of the Rashtriya Swayamseyak Sangh (RSS) will gather here for the 10-day meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal, the highest policy-making body of the Sangh.
Starting Monday, the annual meeting of the Mandal is likely to take crucial decisions that will formulate the saffron organisation’s future plans and strategies. RSS insiders said the main agenda was to chalk-out plans for better coordination between the Nagpur-based organisation and the BJP government at the Centre. Policy decisions regarding education, religious and social matters would be taken during the meet.
The RSS is likely also come out with a policy document which it would like the Modi government to implement in next five years.
BJP leaders may attendApart from senior RSS functionaries, including ‘Sarsanghchalak’ (RSS head) Mohan Bhagwat and his deputy ‘Sarkaryavah’ Suresh BhaiyyajiJoshi, senior BJP leaders are also likely to attend the event. It is the first time that the RSS is holding its policy meeting when the BJP, regarded its political wing, has formed a government at the Centre with full majority.
