A 32-year-old primary school head teacher was allegedly raped by three persons in Mainpuri district on Monday. The alleged rapists snatched her ring, chain, mobile phone and Rs. 5000 in cash. The police have arrested one person.
The victim, a resident of Purana Bazar, was going to schoolat around 7 a.m. when she was accosted by one Amit Yadav and two others, according to police. The victim was dragged to the nearby bushes and allegedly raped. When the woman raised an alarm, the three culprits tried to escape after snatching her mobile phone, Rs. 5000 in cash, a ring and a chain.
